Historic Ithaca’s Significant Elements and Preservation Services are seeking volunteers. We have a range of opportunities to fit your skills, interests, and abilities. You can help out in our resource library, conservation lab, or showroom:
- Assisting library patrons with research
- Digitizing our collection of slides and historic photographs
- Organizing and inventorying the showroom and warehouse
- Rewiring antique lighting fixtures
- Preparing donated materials for sale
- Creating functional and artistic items from salvaged materials
