Work Preserve | Significant Elements’ Job Training Program
Youth and adults learn by doing in Historic Ithaca’s Work Preserve job training program. Participants, referred by local social service agencies, build practical, transferable green job skills in a real workplace environment at Significant Elements Architectural Salvage store.
Funding for this project has been provided by the City of Ithaca Community Development Block Grant program, the Park Foundation, and the Community Foundation.
The Work Preserve Job Training Program was recognized as a “Sign of Sustainability” by Sustainable Tompkins in 2011!
