Our Ithaca, NY store is open Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-4pm EST.
We only ship to addresses in the United States.
Our website cannot automatically calculate shipping charges due to the irregular sizes and weights of our merchandise. We will contact you by email for your approval of shipping charges.
Items that meet size and weight limits are shipped via USPS, FedEx or UPS. Items are typically shipped with in 3 business days.
Some oversized or heavy items require special shipping arrangements and cannot be purchased online. This is noted in the product description. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 607-277-3450 to purchase these items. We will contact you with a quote for shipping charges.
Warranty and Condition Since our products are salvaged, we offer them for sale "as is".
Many items are irregularly shaped; please call if you have any questions about an item’s measurements. We will email additional pictures of items upon request.
We attempt to accurately describe the condition of each item. If you have any questions about an item, please email or call before placing your order.
Products are not guaranteed to be in safe operating condition. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to have products inspected and serviced as required by a professional before installing or using them.
We accept returns of all items for store credit only within 14 days of receipt of the order.We do not credit the shipping cost in either direction.
If you need to return an item, please contact us by email for a Returned Material Authorization (RMA). Include your order number, the item that you want to return, and the reason for the return. We will not issue store credit without an RMA.
If we make a mistake in your order we will reimburse you for return shipping and send the correct items. If the correct items are not available we will refund your entire order including shipping.
Items must be received by us in the same condition in which they were sold.
A 15% restocking fee may be applied to some returns.
Quantity in Stock
Our online inventory is updated twice weekly. Occasionally an item listed in our online store may have been sold since the last update. If an item you order is no longer available, we will contact you as soon as possible.
You may choose to pick up your order at our physical store in Ithaca, NY. In this case there will be no shipping charges. When you select “In Store Pick-up” as the shipping method, we will hold your order at the store for 14 business days. After 14 business days, items not picked up are returned to inventory and you will be issued a store credit for the purchase price.
Significant Elements collects sales tax on orders shipped to addresses within New York state or picked up at the store.
Sales tax will be added to items shipped to NYS addresses. We will include the tax amount in the shipping invoice. The tax rate charged is that of the shipping address.
When "In-Store Pick-up" is selected as the shipping method, 8% sales tax will be added after the receipt of your order.
We do not collect sales tax for items shipped to addresses outside of New York state.
Tax Exempt Sales
If you are tax exempt and have a New York state shipping address, please contact us before ordering. A tax exempt form must be received prior to processing your order.
Any personal customer information received by Significant Elements as a result or your order is used only to process the order. We will not sell or give the information to any other company or organization. We will only contact you with issues or information directly related to your order.
